Great for playing tug, fetch, or gnawing on the Mumbies root chew. The braided rope is made from coconut husk fiber, while the wood chew in the center is 100% natural, coffee tree root. This wood is dense, breaks down slowly, gradually softening into small fibers as your dog chews, providing extended chewing satisfaction and mental stimulation. It is highly resistant to cracking and splintering due to the hardness of the wood and tightly packed fibers within, which protects your pup's teeth and digestive system.

Coffee is one of the most widely traded commodity crops in the world. Since younger coffee trees produce the most beans, older trees are cut down and replanted as their bean production decreases. This natural part of the process provides a surplus of coffee wood.
Coffee wood is more gentle on a dog’s teeth than antler, bone, or nylon, but harder than most native sticks you’d find outside. The wood is porous so it also softens further as they chew.
Below is recommended sizing. The goal is to have your pup open their mouth a bit wider to gnaw on the ends. Remember to go up in size if you have an aggressive chewer.

Mumbies chews can last anywhere from a few weeks to a month or two, depending on the size of your dog, chewing behavior, and how often they get their Mumbies. A moderate chewer could go through 1-2 a month with an average chew time of 15-20 minutes. We recommend storing these chews inside, away from outdoor weather, to preserve its life.
Mumbies chews should be treated like a toy and not something a dog is meant to consume. We advise against any dog ingesting these chews. However, if your dog accidentally ingests tiny bits and pieces, it will pass through the digestion.
These are not suitable for dogs under 6 months. The rope and root chew is best for moderate chewers because the rope can come apart quickly with an overly enthusiastic dog.
