It is used in the Rolled Martingale Collars for its strength, durability, and beauty. These Collars are popular with owners of Mastiffs and similar large breeds! Rolled Leather Martingale Collars are appropriate for training, but are equally useful as easy on / easy off collars for everyday use. Just like the standard Rolled Leather Collars, the Rolled Leather Martingale Collars are designed for dogs with long fur because the smooth, rolled leather design will not mat the fur. These collars are just as comfortable - and beautiful - on a dog with short fur.
Measuring your dog
When measuring your dog for a martingale collar, keep in mind that the collar will need to be able to slip over your dog’s head, since it doesn’t have a buckle.
First, measure the widest part of your dog’s head. Next, measure your dog’s neck as you would for a standard, buckle-style collar. Use the larger of the two measurements.
