Magical, delicious, lovely, nutritious cupcakes! We don't make bad-for-your-pet here at Happy Hounds. Inevitably, a cupcake needs a "binder" - something to keep all the goodness together - so we've decided to use millet. It is the lowest form of grain on the glycemic scale and tends to do best with a wider scope of tummies. The topping is made with sour cream and hibiscus flower for a hint of sweet that doesn't add sugar. We ate one. The dog ate two. Everyone was happy. The End.
If you want a birthday theme, please let us know. We have edible Happy Birthday sugar disks that can be put on top of each cupcake for an added celebratory flair.
Keep frozen until ready to use and thaw for 5 minutes on the counter. If doggo can't wait or simply needs a cool down - give it to him frozen - he'll enjoy it either way.
